Q. What time does the ceremony start?
A. At Noon

Q. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
A. Arriving early means more wait time. However, if too late, after 11:30 you will need to walk
     further to the Circle of Immortals.

Q. How long does the ceremony last?
A. The program is 30 minutes and placing the wreaths usually takes about 90 additional minutes.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Please dress for the weather.

Q. Will the ceremony be held regardless of the weather?
A. Absolutely, rain, shine or snow.

Q. Is there food and beverages?
A. There will be hot cocoa. Please do NOT bring food or drink.

Q. Are children invited?
A. Yes, children are a vital part of our program. With supervision please.

Q. Is there handicapped parking available?
A. There is no handicapped parking available.

Q. Who are we?
A. We are a local chapter of the national organization. Our focus is honoring the more that 4000 veterans who are buried at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens
      in Timonium, Maryland.

Q. How much does it cost to purchase wreaths?
A. Each individual wreath is made from the balsam fir in Maine and transported to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Each wreath cost $17.00. In order to lay
     a wreath on the grave of each veteran, the local chapter must raise almost $60,000 annually. Wreaths are not available for sale at the ceremony.

Q. How do you raise the money?
A. All money is raised though donations. We seek donations from local businesses, foundations, military and service organizations as well as individual community
     members.

Q. Can I make donation to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens through the national website?
A. Making donations is easy. Just use our "Sponsor Online" page ( which takes you to our page on the national site )  to make an online donation, or you can use
     the  printable sponsor form and mail your donation to us. If you choose to go directly to the national site, you must designate your donation for Dulaney Valley
     Memorial Gardens by using both our location code-MDDVMG and our group code - MD0200.

Q. Are you all volunteers?
A. Yes, currently we have about 15 dedicated volunteers including several veterans who work year-round and several more that help during the actual wreath
     laying ceremony. We seek donations throughout the year and we are always looking for help in this area as well as other areas. To be a volunteer, please use
